I don't understand why the law applies only to firearms. If a person is truly an imminent danger to himself or others, shouldn't all potential weapons be removed, such as kitchen knives, saws, axes, gasoline, chainsaws, automobiles, toxic materials, rope, matches, plastic bags, screwdrivers, hammers, baseball bats, golf clubs, sharp or blunt objects, prescription medicines, etc. etc. etc?
Nevermind, I do understand.
